The following ideas have been requested by bereaved families. We show them to illustrate how
important it is to us that the funeral you are arranging is to your requirements. 

Would you like the journey to the Church, Cemetery or Crematorium to go via a particular  house or location that has a special significance to you or the deceased?

If it is your request that flowers are not sent, you may decide on one tribute with cards from close family. Friends and other relatives could make a donation to the deceased’s preferred charity.  Cheques made payable to the charity can be sent or passed to us. We will forward them after one month and inform you of the amount donated.

Some people may want to just touch the coffin at some time and others may want to be pallbearers.

Would you like a Motor Cycle or Horse Drawn Hearse?

Some crematoriums now have the facility to show the funeral service live over the internet or to have photographs of the deceased displayed on screens in the crematorium chapel.

Would you like a favorite photograph of the deceased to be placed on the coffin during the service?

Some people want a “green” funeral.

Maybe you would like the bagpipes played, a jazz band or a solo singer. We will always endeavour  to accommodate you wishes

Some people like to leave a momento of special significance in the coffin

Relatives or friends may wish to create a memory board to be displayed at the service. a photographic history of the deceased?

Similarly, a memory table, displaying items of special significance. Perhaps reminders of a hobby or special interest? 

Most people want the funeral director to handle everything, but others feel the need to be more involved.

There is no right or wrong way to say your good-byes. Only you know what you would like and we promise to help wherever possible to provide the service that you want.

Of course we will handle the insertion of press announcements and give assistance with ordering, care and final distribution of floral tributes if required. As well as making arrangements for catering.
